How I Started?
My adventure began in 2017, in the most ordinary setting—my
apartment complex. While taking out the trash, I stumbled upon a maroon
suitcase filled with items discarded by a moving neighbor. Among the haul was a foreign-language laptop. With no business degree or experience, I saw potential
and profit where others saw refuse. I scrappily salvaged the laptop and other items, selling them on platforms like Letgo, Mercari, Craigslist and Facebook, catalyzing my journey into the world of reselling.
Foundation of Bin IQ
With a newly acquired laptop found in my apartment complex trash dump but no internet at home and a determination to lose weight,
I combined my goals. I would jog three miles daily with a backpack with my laptop inside to a local coffee shop to use free Wi-Fi, diving deep into self-education with my free laptop. I learned about various industries, from real estate to app development which I use to present day.
Most pivotally, I discovered the
Amazon Liquidation niche that allowed me to buy and resell returned goods at a fraction of the cost and tons of potential profits to be made and without the large startup cost with purchasing pallets and truckloads directly, a pivotal step that I details in our tailored training courses within the BinIQ app.
